The Mental Health Couch Podcast

On The Mental Health Couch podcast, you’ll find a range of interviews with some of the interesting people I meet in my work. You’ll also hear episodes from my radio appearances, audio tracks from our free webinar series and more.

We know life doesn’t always go to plan. Work shifts, family commitments and unexpected events can all get in the way of a course date you were looking forward to.

We want our booking terms to be clear and fair, so you know exactly where you stand before you book. Each course is planned around the people attending it, and a set policy helps us look after every participant and keep our programs running well. Here’s how cancellations, transfers and course materials work.

This policy applies to our public programs only. If your organisation has booked a private or in-house program with us, the terms in your agreement with us apply instead.

Cancellations

More than 45 days before your course: you’ll receive a full refund, less the cost of any course materials we’ve already bought for you (see below).

45 days or less before your course: a $195 cancellation fee applies. We’ll refund the rest of your course fee, less the cost of any course materials we’ve already bought for you.

Transfers

You’re welcome to move to a different course date, and you can transfer more than once. Transfers depend on places being available on the new date.

Your first transfer: free if you make it more than 45 days before your course starts. If you make it 45 days or less before your course, a $195 transfer fee applies.

Any further transfers: a $195 transfer fee applies each time, however far ahead you make the change.

Cancelling after a transfer: if you’ve transferred your booking and later decide to cancel, your course fee can’t be refunded. This applies however far ahead of the new date you cancel.

Course materials and e-learning

Some courses include materials we buy for you before the course starts, such as an e-learning module. Once we’ve bought these materials for you, their cost can’t be refunded. As a guide:

  • Initial courses: about $120
  • Refresher courses: about $30

The exact amount depends on the course, and we’ll confirm it if you need to cancel. We’ll take this amount out of your refund, along with any cancellation fee. This applies even if you cancel more than 45 days before your course.

Check what applies to you

Enter your booking details below to see an estimate of what would apply if you cancelled or transferred today.

What would it cost to cancel or transfer?

For public programs only. Enter your booking details for an estimate based on today’s date.

This is an estimate only. Resource fees aren’t always charged, and the amounts shown are a guide. We’ll confirm exactly what applies when you contact us.

How to cancel or transfer

Email us at nick@thementalhealthcoach.com.au with your name, the course you’re booked into, and whether you’d like to cancel or transfer. We’ll confirm by email. The date we receive your email is the date we use to work out the 45 days.

If we need to change or cancel a course

If we ever have to cancel or reschedule a course, you can choose a full refund or a transfer to another date at no cost.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Thank you

Thank you for choosing to learn with The Mental Health Coach. We’re grateful for every person who gives their time to support their own mental health and the people around them, and we look forward to welcoming you to a course.
